Demerol take me away

this is the first time i'm ever enjoyed having a migraine! lol. well, the migraine part sucked. no matter what i took it wouldn't go away so i went to the dr. i have a sinus infection & he figured that's y my migraine wouldn't go away so i got a shot of imitrex. still had the headache... so dr. decides-Demerol! now, i've taken a lot of pain meds due to minor injuries/out patient surery but i've never had Demerol before. The nurse was laughing when i stood up and said "wow, now i know why i had to call for a ride first!" she said, that's the goal, get me high and happy. lol. well she may have been kidding but mission accomplished anyway. not only is my headache gone but i'm high as a kite and this is fun! lol. i'm probably making no sense right now. anyway, i hope this knocks the headache out & doesn't just last while i'm on it. i hate headaches! ntm i was @ the dr. office for almost 6 hours total today (although i slept through a lot of it) and don't want to have to go back (that's what dr. said to do if headache is still there in the morning) ok, i swear, i'm done rambling now. i can't really see the computer screen straight.
oh, i had a question to ask though. how many of you get bad migraines on a regular basis? have you ever had to get a shot for it before? if so, is the Demerol normal? i usually take Relpax as soon as i notice one coming on and that works well. today is the first time it didn't.
